this was one of the most frigid days of the trip out to the east coast. Note to self, stop taking trips in February. Anyway, the ocean is much less appealing in the winter, but beautiful nonetheless. After reminding myself 20 times to be careful with my phone since i had so many layers on i couldn’t always feel it in my pocket, i reached to take a picture and sure enough it was gone. Panicking, i scoured the shore for 10 minutes before finding my phone half buried under the waves.

Anyway this is your reminder to hold onto your phone, and if you don’t you can google one of those water frequency videos and it’ll get most of the water out of your speakers.

All in all, assateague and the wild ponies were well worth it to fulfill a childhood dream.
